This is what my sweet friend, Mandy Lee Cawley has to say about Plexus! Its worth the read! #nogimmick #plexusisatool #down5pantssizes ***A little long, but please read*** Some say Plexus is a GIMMICK or a SHORTCUT. That line of thinking says just get you a a pair of running shoes, muster up some will power, get moving, and deny yourself what you have obviously been over indulging in. And for a few this is effective and 30 years ago it was attainable. I attempted that multiple times in my life to no avail and these are the reasons why I believe it was never long term: 1. You have read my posts over the last year about gut health. That 80% of Americans suffer from mild to moderate yeast/fungus overgrowth and that 80% of our immunity stems from our gut. This is a huge determiner of success in that line of thought mentioned above. When your immune system and gut are controlled by yeast then cravings control you and will power doesnt last long. Couple this with the fact that our food supply is filled with substances and chemicals that are proven to cause addictions. Sugar alone is more addictive than cocaine. In order to stop the over indulging in what you have been indulging in, only comes from cleaning up the gut. Then a person can begin actually making healthy food choices. 2. When your bodys system is over taxed and damaged from highly addictive and processed foods it doesnt function the way God intended and stores fat as oppose to releasing it. The fastest growing epidemic in this country is related to blood sugar issues leading to diabetes. Without being able to reset the system and alleviate the stress on our internal systems the body will not release fat. Plexus slim does this-levels out the blood sugar levels by breaking down sugars before it hits the liver and pancreas so it isnt overworked. Then a myriad of other side effects are then possible, lower lipid/cholesterol levels, hormonal balances back in check and brown fat is burned and released. 3. The liver effects the hypothalamus glad that in return controls cravings. Again with a properly functioning liver you have a second defense and ally to aid your will power. 4. Fat cells are composed of fat and toxins. Thats why we have fat so that it will absorb the toxins and protect our bodies. When fat is lost and leaves the cells you are left with those toxins in your system and they quickly will try to reabsorb more fat. Without a detox the fat loss will not be long term. 5. A balanced body produces a natural energy that people who are desperate to lose weight do not have. When the body comes back into balance then it is easier to get off the couch and get moving. While you might have been successful with eating less and moving more doesnt mean everyone can. Plexus is a tool to get the ball rolling and get the body back to a state that it needs to be in to lose weight and get healthy. Without Plexus I would have never been able to overcome my cravings, to eliminate those highly processed and addictive foods from my diet, or had the will power or energy to get moving and to make exercise a regular part of my life or have overcome the psychological defeat of desperation that comes from trying and attempting to lose weight and failing over and over again. Im glad that there are those of you who have had success with will power and exercise and havent walked the road I have, and whose systems havent been compromised by the modern American diet. But please dont make mine or anyone elses journey to better themselves and get healthy less because it isnt your way. If you or someone you know struggles with blood sugar issues, lack of energy, food cravings, or to lose weight I would gladly share my story with them about how I have dropped 5 pant sizes, cleaned up my gut and got off the couch and got my life back. Thank you to those who have been supportive of our familys efforts to get healthy and build a business that was completely unexpected.
