This is what the end of summer feels like for me. I love Autumn weather, scenery, events slow down and everything just gets back into place. But a feeling of mortality is introduced. Friends depart for whatever their lives are when they dont have time to waste. It gets cooler, but that just serves as a reminder that its only going to get bitter soon. The timelessness of summer is discarded as the length of day diminishes. Im weird in that I prefer nights, but it leaves me with no less of an impression. Everything just seems more...quiet. Slow.
