This is whats on my mind in my spirit. Concerning the bad report that my mother got . If you remember and Job chapter 2 verse 1 Satan attacked jobs health like hes attacking my mothers health . Now we all know in different circumstances and in life-threatening situations different people respond differently. But the Lord showed me this when I was praying today. That my mom and I are people of faith and that our friends and our prayer partners are people of faith. This is what we want you to agree with us about the Word of God. Again there was a day when the sons of God came to presenting themselves before the Lord and Satan also came among them to present himself before the Lord. And verse 2 and the Lord said to Satan, from where do you come?and satan answer the Lord said from coming to and fro on the earth and from walking back and forth on it. Fast forward Job was a man of integrity and my mom is a woman a child of God and of integrity. Then the Lord said have you considered my servant Job that there is none like him on earth a blameless an upright man who fears God shuns evil? If you remember the story it was Satan that struck Job with painful boils from the soles of his foot to the crown of his head . Sound like Cancer or a spirit of I firmity. Fast forward to Job had three friends that heard of the trouble he was going through and all the friends came and tried to give him advice and help and of course being the good friends they were it says they mourned with him and tried to comfort him. But when they did in job 3 verse 26 said I am NOT at ease , nor am i quiet. I have no rest for trouble comes verse 5 but now it comes upon you and you were worried ; it touches you and you are troubled. but the Lord tells us this in in job 5:18 for he bruises that he binds up he wounds, and his hands make whole. Verse 19 He shall deliver you in 6th troubles, yes in 7 no evil shall touch you. This is what my mom want to agree on the Word of God. Verse 20for our familyand our mom and he shall redeem you from death any more from the power of the sword. Verse 21 verse 21 you should be hidden from the scourge of the tonuge and you shall not be afraid of destruction when it comes. We are not fearful. . Verse 22 you shall laugh at destruction and famine and you shall not be afraid of the beasts of the earth. My mom andIsay now is not a time to cry. Now when these things were going on and I are going on now father like Job when my family cannot sleep because their sorrow is deep. I asked that you would comfort them and pour out your mercy upon them. I like that job had a despondent prayer in job13:20 he said only two things do not do to me, then I will not hide myself from you. One was withdraw your hand far from me, and let not the dread of you make me afraid. Now just from reading the Bible the book of Job you can tell that he went through a lot Job 17 he prays for relief he said my spirit is broken my days are extinguished the grave is ready for me. Then I like what chapter 19 says in Job... He trusted his Redeemer. So thats what my mom sandy and I are going to do were going to trust the Lord that we know that her redeemer lives and that she will stand and trust him. But in the end you have had wisdom from God and integrity from God. I was just getting to think right there it was all good. Skip to the end of the book of Job and Job had restoration. Maybe as a your prayer partner who likes to pray especially like this ending and the Lord restored jobs losses when he prayed for his friends. And indeed the Lord gave job twice as much as he had before. Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning and he even had more the ending. And one of my favorite scriptures at the end of Job 42 vs 17 and Job died old and full of days. Now as a Christian I believe that God is no respecter of persons what hes done for others hell do for us and our families. My mom and I choose to live and die by faith. But no matter what we like job trust the Lord.
