This is when Im glad that the Father does answer prayers immediately. My eyes have been bothering me due to the rather windy days recently, so I bought some visine last week, and keep it in my purse for when needed. Just now I reached in, grabbed it, took off my glasses and put a drop in my left eye. Only it wasnt the visine, but some lidocaine ear drops Id gotten for sinus ear pain two months ago. Keeled over my eye a flaming agony, I praying in a litany, Please dont let me be blind! My eye went from blood red to pink as I watched it. It still hurts a little, but I can see fine. Lesson: Always read the bottle! Im a certified med tech. I know better than this!
