This is wonderful! Congrats! SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Armstrong Atlantic State University has been included on Victory Medias 2014 Military Friendly School list, which honors the top 20 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in the country that embrace Americas military service members, veterans and spouses and support their success on campus. Inclusion on the 2014 list of Military Friendly Schools shows Armstrongs commitment to providing a supportive environment for military students, Sean Collins, vice president at Victory Media and a nine-year Navy veteran, said in a statement. The need for education is growing, and our mission is to provide the military community with transparent, world-class resources to assist in their search for schools. Armstrong offers a number of educational programs that appeal to military students, including associate of science degrees with tracks in business, nursing and criminal justice. The university also offers online degree completion programs in radiologic science, medical laboratory science, nursing and respiratory therapy. Armstrong has flexible scheduling, ranging from full semesters to seven-week flex terms, to help students balance the demands of school, family and work. At Armstrong, we go above and beyond to help students who have served in the military, Laura Pallini-Bolton, Armstrongs veterans affairs coordinator, said in a statement. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for veterans and their families to apply for college and to excel in the classroom and beyond. We appreciate their sacrifice and want to support their success on campus.
