This is your tax dollars at work here ladies and gentlemen. The first 2 pics are from today, a sidewalk plow, salting a clear clean and dry sidewalk, sun is out and around +2 degrees C. The other 2 pics are on a day of the same temperature, on wet roads clear of snow, salting, and doing nothing more than scraping the blade on the asphalt, which in turn will only accelerate the wear and tear on it before it needs to be replaced, oh ya, guess who gets to pay for the new blade. Apparently this preventative step is for liability purposes. I call bullshit, if you cant seem to drive in Canadian weather, than stay home, or take transit. Quite frankly if you cant handle driving in the snow, than you shouldnt be on the road in winter or summer, this is how to ween bad drivers off the road so the rest of us can travel safer End rant!
