This isnt a new tactic (i.e. demonizing the opposition) but it has no place in scientific debate where evidence is all that matters. Science is meant to consider all the data, which is continuous, and regularly reevaluated. This philosopher is less a scientist than myself (my degree actually carries the word Science...twice) but I recognize and defer to the expertise of the Meteorological community, which is full of skeptics who present holes in the politically correct conclusion. It is wise to consider the evidence of dissent in order to avoid a foregone conclusion. In Science, as in Healthcare, you cant keep your conclusion just because you like it.
