This isnt the last youll see of Fremantles street art on this page, but what better way to end Freo Week than with the beautiful frescos on the exterior of East West Design on South Terrace. Stretching a whopping 78 metres of corrugated iron warehouse frontage, the murals have been painted by local artist Graeme Miles Richards using exterior acrylic, artists colours and spray paint. The project has taken six months so far and each fresco represents different countries based on the products sold instore, including France, Morocco, Portugal and Singapore, with Africa next on the list. When we visited Freo last weekend to take photos, we were lucky enough to meet the man himself outside the store, where he was putting the finishing touches to the Singapore section of the wall. Such a lovely bloke and such amazing talent! Heres a couple of photos to get you started and theres more to come this afternoon.
