This just disappoints the hell out of me. Yes it wasnt their biggest revenue stream, but so what? Im reliably informed that Apple has a few bucks lying around and can afford to think of the Classic as a sort of loss-leader. A lot of people adore the huge capacity of the iPod Classic and the ability to carry your entire music library in your pocket. Some of us have yet to find a streaming service that really works for us and we certainly dont feel like paying for the higher data usage that inevitably comes along with them. Im half tempted to start a Save The iPod Classic petition....but no.
