This last Thursday I was truly humbled and rightfully honored to receive this prestigious recognition at our Annual Sequoia Safety Council Christmas party. I walk amongst giants here in the field of EMS. I serve alongside many incredible EMTs and Paramedics that I would gladly have run on my own family. SSC is crucial in my maturation as a paramedic/preceptor and I cant thank everyone enough from the Board of Supervisors, Upper/Middle Management, and the troops I serve beside. This recognition is a reflection of the teamwork thats so evident here. Its an incredible feeling to be a small part of something so much bigger than the individual. For those on today, be safe and steadfast. For those I will be working with in the future, lets continue to make a mark on EMS with continued Leadership.
