This little fourteen year old girl (possibly younger) gets attacked by a serial killer, she watched him slash her friends throat in front of her, then he came and slashed hers. She lived through it and pointed him out later to the police. Later on she had to testify against this man, when they were going to trial she said that she was nervous, but that she was alive, which was what mattered. That he was in that court room because of her, that she got to look him in the eye and that because of her he was going to jail. He took her friends life, tried to take hers, but now HIS life was in HER hands. I think its amazing, especially because if a fourteen year old girl can do that, feel like that, say that, every victim should be able to confront their attacker, look them in the eyes and feel PROUD, that you survived, and enjoy having that power.
