This little girl is emaciated and has some bald spots. I bet shes not more than 10 pounds, ribs are protruding. As soon as we got home, I gave P a cup of the kibble they sent along, and she ate it like no tomorrow, and drank a bowl of water. Immediately peed outside, yet to ask for potty at the door as she is lying beside me right now appearing very comfortable and content. I think shell fatten up if she doesnt have any underlying health issues that cause her to be so skinny, but want to get her checked out soon. She has already had puppies, but my eye is not trained enough to be able to tell how recently. She is very skittish and nervous, but very trusting and incredibly sweet. She and Hannah made eye contact from across the house, but now H is upstairs and P down on the screened porch. I think well be able to keep them separate for a while, at least until P is a bit more comfortable with the lay of t he land. Thanks for all your support and guidance, and for allowing me to be one of you. I think weve done a wonderful thing pulling this little girl, and maybe in a month or so will be able to look for a furever home for her.
