This makes me equally angry, sad, confused, and disgusted. I would appreciate any of my police officer friends offering something - Anything! - that can justify why this story is being repeated all over the country so much lately. This is heartbreaking and gut wrenching. We dont leave our furkids out when we arent home and yet it still worries me that one of them could be murdered for DOING HIS/HER JOB of protecting me and my home by an officer who is also SWORN to protect me and my home. I hurt for every one of these furbabies and their devastated families. This has to stop happening IMMEDIATELY!
