This man is Tia Pomponio, husband of Dee Pomponio. He grew up in Elk River, but has lived in Orofino a long time. His wife was Is the former Delores Grimm, the Grimms are a well known family in Orofino. Anyway, Tia worked in the woods for years & was on many log drives. He is a historian about the log drives & has many photos, & much info. Hes a busy man, but he has lent me some photos that I will be posting, not all at once, & he will lend more in future, some he cant let go of at this time. So please think of the generosity of this man when I post his photos!
