This marks my 1st week of training post Ramadan. Ive been doing 1.7 mile jog to the track, dynamic hip mobility and static lat stretches, 5 sets of 25 meter striders (think sprints with the focus being on stride length), then the 1.7 mile jog home. At home I use a softball on the calves and a golf ball on the bottom of the feet for SMR. Today I added in 1 set of BW lunges for 100 meters. Ive done this for 5 days now 2 on/1 off/3 on so Ill take the next 2 days off from running. The clip is just some technical work of some kicks to get your attention. Ha Ha Ok so whats the point, you absolutely must have a plan for your training or your setting yourself up for injury. If you dont have a plan at the very least you should journal your training sessions so you can look back and make adjustments where needed.
