This may be a long post but I love Christmas. I ❤️ it bcuz it celebrates the birth of the King of Kings, but it means so much more with each passing year. It is a time to see family and friends who are just like family for a brief moment and embrace the gift of friendship. It is a time to reflect on the passing of those who have meant so much to us and rest assured that we will be reunited with them when He calls us home. It is time of new beginnings as we see the awe of Christmas in the eyes and sounds of children. (Although our yearly choir needs some work). So now as sit here and listen to midnight mass from Rome and stuff stockings and put the finishing Touches on tomorrows breakfast and activities I am filled with love- love for my life and the people in it- love for our God- and a humbling gratitude for life in general. May the joy of Christmas find each of you in your own way. Good night. 🎄❤️🎁💤
