This may not be a healthy treat to eat - but it is pretty and will save time searching, which is healthy on the mind ;) Who has little girls that have little bows? and if you are anything like our house they are found everywhere but never when I need one!!?? This bow holder is quick and super easy to make by up-cycling an old photo frame. You will need: 1x photo frame 1x old pillow case or plain fabric (I used an old black pillowcase and put the inside showing up as it was darker) Some ribbon (enough to make 3 strips) Hot glue gun, with lots of sticks of glue Sharp scissors or craft knife Ruler Instructions: 1. Iron your fabric so it is nice and flat. 2. If it is a little fluffy then go over it with a lint roller to remove this. 3. Remove the glass from your frame (this will not be used at all) 4. Cut the fabric 25mm wider around each edge than the backing board. 5. Wrap the fabric around the backing board and glue down each edge with the hot glue gun. 6. Measure your ribbon lengths so you have about 25mm to fold over the back and glue down. 7. Start with the middle ribbon and then do the outside ones in turn. I had a shiny silver mirror type edge on my frame which I didnt like, so I ended up wrapping the frame itself but this is not necessary, just personal choice. Easy as that!! Please feel free to post any photos of bow holders you make as we would love to see them :)
