This message is for those who are celebrating the CPP fraudulent, stolen (without shame) victory of the recent election: Are all you guys blind and deft? Please tell me how a country can develop when it has such a selfish dictator, a VN puppet running a system of cronyism, nepotism, full of thieves, extortion, and frauds of all kinds. Do you know how wide the income inequality of the Cambodian people is? Do you know that over 30 of the population of the people still live below the poverty line of $1/day? Do you know how low salary of our civil servants is and how much they have to ration this salary to exorbitant costs of living these days? Do you know how f-up our political and economic systems are? Do you know how much an ordinary citizen has to pay all the corrupt officials from all levels to get my business established and up-and-running in Cambodia? Do you know how much he or she has to pay those corrupt officers to get theirs goods to the markets? Do you know how messed-up our infrastructure (one of the main reasons driving up the costs of goods) is? Do you know that much of our precious forest has been deforested due to illegal logging; land, mountains, and exquisite islands have been concessioned or privatized, one way or another, to foreign companies; our natural resources have been exploited. And Cambodian people have been robbed. They are the victims of the development spearheaded by the current government. Five more years of these same old leaders, total destruction is imminent and inevitable. Nothing will be left for our kids, but mounting debts and loss of identity and, possibly, country to foreign ambitious invaders. What a bunch of blind, imbecilic supporters! From a person who loves the country dearly!
