This message is from Mrs. Kamp. The staff and I have been working diligently to get the school and classrooms ready for Monday. We are excited to fill the school with young voices and energy. I encourage you to place your child on the bus tomorrow morning. We will be taking students off the buses by grade levels and giving them a card with their bus number. All students will go into the gym and we will have staff on hand to help them find their teacher who will record their bus number to assure they get home on the correct bus. If you will be picking up your child at the end of the school day, you will need to send in a note stating this and letting us know who has permission to pick up your child. Even if you picked them up everyday last year, we need a new note on file regarding their dismissal procedure for this year. Please remember to have a photo identification whenever you come into school to pick up your child. If your child goes to a different address in the afternoon for day care purposes, please write a note and give us the 911 address and name of the person that will watch them in the afternoon and we will make sure they get on the correct bus. The doors will open in the afternoon at 3:40PM for parents to come to the gym to begin signing out their children. If you will be dropping your child off in the morning, we ask that you pull around to the white barriers and keep your child in the car until the buses begin to unload. If you choose to walk your child into the school, we ask that you park in a designated parking spot and not around the curbing. Please wait with your child in the vehicle until you see the buses begin to unload at 8:55 AM and then you can walk them into the building. Please do not stand at the front doors waiting for the doors to open or allow your children to stand there as we have no supervision in this area until 8:55 AM. We appreciate your help in making sure that all students arrive at school safely and return home to you safely each afternoon. I am looking forward to a great year!
