This might be a version of the experiment done in Reno during a science demonstration for children that went awry causing some injuries. While I admire and support the interest of these boys in science, they should have been wearing gloves or goggles, and had a fire extinguisher nearby. I did stuff like this as a kid in a lab I had in our cellar. I made the same dumb mistakes and have the scars to prove it. There were char marks on a beam in our house as testimony to my stupidity and good fortune. Fortunately, our house is no longer there...thankfully not due to my actions though...
