This might not be one of my popular posts….and it may offend a few, but that is not my intention. My intention is to help others to quit sharing negativity and start spreading positive and constructive posts. Facebook posts can be quite interesting. One of the many ‘types’ of post I’ve noticed are those that want to inform everyone how bad their life is, what they don’t have, and sometimes criticizing others because they do. In these posts people do vent their feelings by itemizing each challenge they are facing, and sometimes on a daily basis. What is the motive of this, to get attention, sympathy, money, or a combination of all three? I see you have a headache today; I see you can’t afford a new car. I see everyone is picking on you. I do know there are several of you out there are going through way more, yet say far less. I know of some who don’t know if they will live to see the end of the day or week. I know some that are giving up their lives to take care of disabled children or ailing family members. I know some are confined to beds for health reasons. Some are living in war zones afraid when bomb go off or a missile striking their homes. Many of these are people of faith. Many are trusting on prayers and higher powers to intercede. To those I want to commend. Whether it be you don’t want to burden others with your troubles, or maybe you don’t want people knowing about the negative drama in your life. You personally inspire me. Now I’m not saying I don’t want to hear your struggles or challenges. I enjoy helping others when I can, if I can, and Im sure others do as well. I appreciate the fact you can chose a few that you trust to get the encouragement and or help you might need and not making a public display. Let us start sharing our appreciating stories. Let us start encouraging others. Let us start spreading positivity amongst each other. And a big thank you to those that already do. Matthew 6:25-33 Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Do not worry then, saying, What will we eat? or What will we drink? or What will we wear for clothing? For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Have faith, give faith, share faith…..
