This month has been a bad one for Second Hand Siamese. We have had more medical expenses than normal, and could really use your help. This morning, we lost two kittens to Panleuk. This has devastated us - as it completely came out of the blue. They were asymptomatic, other than a little lethargic and had just stopped eating. We rushed them to the vet yesterday afternoon, they passed this morning. They were quarantined and were not anywhere around our general cat population. This bill was almost $300.00. We lost Courage, our Senior Himy, last week. His vet bill with the ER vet was almost $400.00. We have also taken in several seniors that have required costly bloodwork, fluids, prescription foods, etc., that so far, has come to almost $1,000 - and we still have one or two that need senior panels run. We still have kittens to fix from some of the pregnant moms that we have pulled. One of the Cartersville moms that we pulled several months back, has a bent foot that will need surgery to repair. She is a sweet mom and took such good care of her babies. I know this is a lot...but these babies all deserve the best. Please help us continue to give it to them. I am always happy to provide receipts for vetting costs or any expenses to anyone that asks for them. Please note that when we incur these extra expenses, this comes on top of our every day expenses, food, litter, building rent, utilities, hired cleaning, etc......
