This month is pastor appreciation month and in these last hours there is one final person I want to appreciate. This guy knows me better than any any other pastor. He knows all of the ugly that has been in my life. He knows much of my sin and has experienced it first hand and yet has remained my friend. We have laughed together, experienced great times together, and I am sure even cried over the same things. Additionally we have seen God move in each others lives. It is rare to have a friend that will stick with you through high school that you can still call your friend, after all of the ups and downs, and rarer still that you would both become pastors. This person has taught me so much as a friend. He first told me about Dave Ramsey, and he shared with me about God being the father to the fatherless. We have had detailed conversations about adoption and about ministry. We have even had the opportunity to got to a pastors conference together and just recently he was able to do the funeral service of my father-in-law. I am so thankful as I look back to have this friend in my life and so thankful that God called us both into the ministry. So Trent Willhite I just want you to know you are appreciated and I love you brother. May God use us to impact his kingdom for his glory.
