This morning Benjamin and I were snuggling on the couch watching our familys YouTube videos and we came across the one of our first meeting at the Civil Affairs office in Guangzhou. As we watched it he asked, Wheres my China Mama? (This is what he calls the asst director from his orphanage.). We fast forwarded to a clip with her in it and he was excited to point her out. Toward the end of the clip she leans down and whispers something in his ear and then kisses his cheek. He said, China Mama kiss me. China Mama go bye-bye! I asked gently, Did that make you sad? No! He replied enthusiastically. It didnt make you sad? I asked as I remembered the hours of crying after she left. No. I not sad because you got me! Heart melted.
