This morning I was looking at my iPhone and noticed a small circle with a 1 parked on the top corner of FaceTime. Just the name FaceTime is enough to send shivers down my spine. So I opened up the program and saw a picture of my face at the worst possible angle-an image that resembled a Shar-Pei without make up. Suddenly I had the most absurd thought come to mind, shaving my head; that would draw everybodys attention to my naked scalp and away from my wrinkled face. Of course, one of the many benefits of aging is developing a smattering of commonsense. Perhaps I could apply some logic and figure out a less drastic approach to alleviating the situation. I then pressed my finger on the FaceTime application and waited for all of the little icons to start jiggling so I could delete the program. Out of sight out of mind. Ahhhh, but then it occurred to me. FaceTime is a proprietary Apple application-it cant be deleted. Theres something not quite right about that, I should be able to delete any daggone program I want. Apple or not. In fact, maybe Apple could design a senior citizens version of FaceTime and call it Facelift Time😃.
