This morning, Kennedy and I had the distinct honor and opportunity to spread Easter cheer and blessings at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas with nine of the most amazing therapy dog teams who are all part of Paws 4 Love/HPHP Southeast Texas Pet Therapy. We are so grateful to Jo Ann Russell and Suzie, Lyvone Nichols Hoover and Darla, Carolyn Forey Mazzola and Lili, Christie Griffin and Dezi, Kristin Ipes and Cowboy the Therapy Dog, Denice Romero and Mae Mastiff, Deanna Opal and Pickles, Jean and Simon, and Judy and Zoey. These wonderful dog teams turned bunnies hopped into the hearts of many people today. A special thank you to Baptist Hospital for ALWAYS being so accommodating for our group and to the wonderful staff in the volunteer office Vicki Glasgow Holcombe and Barbara Garry for all that you do to make all of our visits to the hospital so special. An additional thanks to Mallory Matt who got up on her day off to come and see the work these dogs to and to do learn more about them for her article for the Lamar University Press.
