This morning the Supreme Court handed down its decision in Arizona v. Inter Tribal Council of Arizona. In a 7-2 decision, authored by Justice Scalia (with dissents from Justices Alito & Thomas), the Court found that an Arizona law requiring people registering to vote to provide proof of citizenship is preempted by the federal law, the National Voter Registration Act. Volume 14, Issue 1 of Engage: The Journal of the Federalist Society Practice Groups contains an article on the case written by Law Professor Anthony T. Caso. Do you think the Court made the correct decision?
