This morning was my 6 month (2 year) check up with my Radiation Oncologist. There is something very special about this Department at SAMMC. Every time I go for a check up I cry. I see all the wonderful people, am blessed again by their smiles and warm hugs and I cry. I ask how they are. They ask how I am. And I cry. I dont think any of them truly know just how dear they are to me. They saved my life. They are forever in my heart. And I cry. We share stories of what is happening in our lives. We laugh. Once again I am assured I am still Cancer free...I smile. Walk to my car and I cry. Thank you Lord God for these people who care so much. Thank you for doctors and nurses. Thank you for healing me. Thank you for one more chance. Thank you for uour Son Jesus. Amen
