This morning we had the memorial for Pastor Harold Richards two ladies from Gallatin First Free Methodist Church sang Praise You in the Storm and they did such a beautiful offering. They followed with When We All Get to Heaven. Hannah Brooks and Whitney Breann sang At the Foot of the Cross and the love and emotion was so lifting. Also Tatiana from Costa Rica sent us a video I understood a few of the word but the love from the man that was singing, and the photos showing the love of Harold for the people he served was evident. The scripture and prayer by Pastor David Mitchel and him telling about the conversations and prayers that he and Harold had shared. Then we had a video of How Great Thou Art because that was Harolds favorite song because that was Harolds Grandfathers favorite song. The message that Ron Balzer delivered a powerful message. The antedote to death based on the scripture 2 Corinthians 4:16. It was a dynamic celebration of the life of Harold Richards. I know Harold is without pain, without contension in his life. Living in the eternal love of the God that IS LOVE. Harold is with his mother and grandfather and all of them are with the eternal loving God through Jesus the saviour which IS THE ANTEDOTE for death. Thank you God for the love you have given us through Jesus which brings us back into communion with You. Lord You allow us to worship You in so many ways. We dont need hymnals to love You. We dont need traditions to get back to You. We need Your love, Lord. We need Your forgiveness. I can only imagine what Harold is living right NOW. Bless You Lord. Love people, God does. Just sayin
