This morning we have received some upsetting accusations stating that we have copied the design for the Quickie Salsa M2 from a lady in Cheshire. Of course, we take these comments extremely seriously. We have spoken to our R&D and design teams who are based in the UK and Germany who have confirmed that the styling and overall design of the Salsa M2 has been completed internally. We have not copied a customer’s wheelchair. Of course, we listen to our customers and take their feedback on board. We’re often asked to provide a wider range of colours, a higher range and improved performance. We integrate this feedback into our designs to ensure our new products meet our customer’s needs. We do not however visit customers and copy the design of their chairs – this would be completely unethical. We take false accusations such as this extremely seriously and would ask our Facebook fans to avoid speculation into these areas, resulting in defamatory remarks posted to our Facebook wall. Making claims such as these simply casts a shadow over an exciting product that we’re extremely proud of and which has been designed to improve and enhance the lives of our customers. We have not heard directly from anyone claiming that their design has been copied and would ask that the lady who is being mentioned makes contact with us so we can further understand and clear up this matter. We can 100% confirm that all of the Salsa M2 design has been conducted internally without copying anyone.
