This morning, we made red bean walnut buns. I have always loved red bean buns. However, when I first tasted The Loaf red bean walnut bun, I felt challenged to make it myself. I said, This I have to try to make. I found a recipe for red bean buns on the Internet, and I decided to try it. Yesterday, I made the red bean paste from scratch, using a pressure cooker. And this morning, we made it. How did it turn out? Well, the bread is very soft, and it tastes nice, alhamdulillah. However, i would say that it has not yet reached the standard of The Loaf, which I have put as a benchmark. That means I have to eat more red bean walnut buns and do it until i get it right!
