This morning we received two orphan brothers aged 8 and 10. Both parents have died. When the oldest was born the mother did not realize she was HIV positive so she took no precautions and he contracted the disease from her. Later their mother died and just a month ago their father also died. There was a Christian neighbour who is very poor and who sells small salty clams, (a very low income occupation) She prayed that she might find a place for these boys. She took the oldest to the doctor for his AIDS check-up and there she met people from Place of Rescue. And we, at Place of Rescue had been praying that if there were kids who needed to be here, the Lord would lead them to us. So THANK YOU LORD for answered prayer. Neighbours said the boys had little to eat and were getting mostly just rice and fish sauce. Probably that is why they were happy to come here. They arrived with no clothes or possessions of their own. Praise God for His love and mercy. They will have a good future.
