This next one was written by a Brazilian composer named Nonato Buzar. I was a huge fan of him and Brazilian music in general in the early 70s. I couldnt find the version I was familiar with on youtube. Santana went to Brazil in 1971 I think. I was amazed by the kids playing soccer in the streets, the size of the avocados; everything! I went to a nightclub and her a great singer sing some of my favorite songs. I went back to the house we were renting and there was a big party going on but I was tired and went bed in a room at the top of the stairs. Some time later, I was awakened by this melody by Nonato, a song I loved but no one else I knew was familiar with it. I jumped up and saw a man sitting at the bottom of the stairs, guitar in hand singing. I was so excited that I was familiar with it and shouted, Hey, that song is by Nonato Buzar!!! That man stopped and looked at me in surprise and said; I am Nonato Buzar! I couldnt believe it. Years later, after I had left the band Carlos recorded it and did a beautiful job.
