This next song / video, was one of two new songs we had begun to play live towards the end of 2010. The other song being I love myself and I want to live - then called Spike. ) I had wanted to get back to including a few more bass intros into our set. It was something I thought the self-titled album definitely lacked and Panda-moanium had been pretty full of wanky bass bits and I wanted to get back to showing off a little bit. Although I consider this song far from perfect and almost frustratingly repetitive towards the end ( something the intertwining backing vocals and harmonies couldnt amend ). In retrospect Im still quite pleased at how it turned out. Ellis Slater recordededed the song and did a terrific job. I like how its a far more natural, almost live sounding recording. It made for an interesting change considering how overblown some of our previous releases had been. Little did we know, this was the last thing we going to be recording as Mike TV for the next 2 years. And the last song we did done with Richard Bushby. Richard can now be found teaching at Felixstowe port. He is a jet- ski instructor for gifted mice. ( is that one?...
