This open page was originally created by me as an alternative to compliment other sites and aimed specifically at those with direct connections to Üzümlü. Since creating the site I have personally been verbally attacked by persons either currently resident in Turkey or currently temporarily resident in the UK on a long term basis (no names, you know who you are). These spineless examples of the human race have, without substance or first hand evidence, accused me online of trouble making & gossip mongering, which I vehemently deny. None have been brave enough to face me, even though they know where I live or have seen me out. Anyone who knows me well will say that I will always speak my mind directly and in person, not by gossip. Basically, if you dont want to hear it straight, dont talk to me! Today, a post appeared on this site regarding Brenda Singleton, by a spoof member. I was immediately accused, in my own household, of being the poster of that comment. I WAS NOT !!! This response post is the first time I have visited the site for many weeks. Given that the accusations have now created friction in my own household, I have decided, so that most members get to see this, to close down the Üzümlü Village Network, effective at 6am Tuesday 9th December 2014. I am of no doubt that most of the small minded people around will greet this news with glee, but my message to those people is, do I care what you think or say?... NO. Keith
