This part it seems was written two the Gentiles since he was sent two preach two them by God and His Son, but I am sure that it would also include any one that cares to be one of Gods people through Jesus Christ and receive the grace of God and they would become one of those seeds of Gods that were born again. The one thing that it seems Paul is bringing out is just what I just said and it is the true mystery of God and that is a problem many people that think they our saved do not truly understand. This great mystery that makes them clean from all there sins and unrighteousness and they become pure seeking to be perfect just as God in His Son were as well is the Holy Ghost that dwells within those that our Saints of God. We covered one scripture verse about this already (Eph 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself.) We also will be cover others and this book so I will not put any thing down on any of the scriptures on this subject at this time except the ones we our reading about now. So let us see if we can really understand what Paul and others is telling us in regards two this mystery. The one thing I read on this was (from a GK. word meaning "to initiate" or "to shut the eyes or mouth") from its original concept of secrecy, something beyond human understanding; and as such, an inevitable feature of religion. In a scientific age there are still mysteries in the universe as a whole, as well as in religion. mystery induces awe and wonder, stimulates imagination and investigation and calls for faith; all of which are requisites for a developing personality. The definition of mystery on one part of it was: a religious truth that one can know only by revelation and cannot fully understand : something not understood or beyond understanding. but I thought this verse gave us a great deal of help in understanding this mystery that is spoken of by Paul. 1ti 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. 1ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. I read what Jesus said two His disciples makes me think that the true mystery is how a man came preaching a gospel that was totally different then any thing God had ever done for man. That is sending His Son two die on the cross be raised from the dead and set down by His father in heaven. Then by so doing we have our sins forgiven receive the unmerited love of God which is His grace. Then through Jesus when we by faith believe on Him and the comforter that Jesus promised His Father would send came down and enter into all of those that except this great gift from God. This is called the Holy Ghost and it causes us to be born into the family of God and the seed of the Holy Spirit keeps us from committing sin because we our now the seed of God. That we our also told that by having this Spirit we are able two over come the flesh. This all is hard for the human mind two understand but through the Spirit of God we our able two do so that is what the passage of scripture we just read tells us. THEN BY THIS SAME REASONING THE DISCIPLES UNDERSTOOD THE MYSTERY OF JESUS DURING THE TIME HE WAS WITH THEM AND AFTER DE DIED ON THE CROSS. This is the scripture verse that you our going two now read. Mr 4:10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. Mr 4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: Mr 4:12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
