This particular video is of the U17/18 age group at this wkends Lakes Regional ID Camp. Igor Ibrahimkadic (Louisville, KY) makes a nice entry pass to the pivot player where he than follows his pass to create a scoring opportunity. The referee failed to allow the advantage to play out. This type of pass that Igor executes (pass from outside, into the pivot player) followed by him following his pass, there is a lot of passing lanes, seems that are created when passing and moving. In some cases, making a pass, than making a diagonal run across court to create movement, space will put the defensive team in a tracking mode which than creates gaps in the defense, or clear seems. It is for the offensive team in possession to figure out how to get creative, making a dynamic play out of the sequence of pass, followed by a diagonal run. In Igors case, he created the dynamic play by making a pass than follow the pass by using the passing lane, or seem that than turned into his scoring opportunity. This particular situation in the video is much like the pick and roll in bball. A very effective pass and move sequence that can be hard to defend when recognized and executed quickly.
