This piece was inspired by a beautiful ibo girl that stile my heart few months back. I know things didnt go the way I wanted it, still no love lost and today is her birthday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY ;). And I hope youll enjoy this piece :) The words Of My Heart She Never Gets to Hear I want her to be mine now but she thinks different. She said I don’t want complications in my life not now, it’s a little disorganized. Well I told her I don’t want to complicate your life I wanna make it better. (This sound like what drizzy drake would say right? Loool) The thoughts of her make me feel like Micheal Jordan when he won his first ring (NBA Title) in 1991, ironically I was born that year. Wise men say only fools rush in. Coming out of an Elvis Presley classic “I can’t help but fall in love with you baby” I believe music can help us express ourselves in situation like this. But all this love songs leave me clueless by the minute, with the thought of her pouring fresh oil on every sound out of my headphone. The words of every artist so sweet like honey to my soul. You all must think am in love right? Yes I think so too. I know she just got out of a relationship, but you gotta try my love. I know we men always have beautiful words to say, but when we love we love HARD. I can lie all day about fake feelings to a girl I lust after (but I don’t Im a Christian o:) hehe ). But when am in front of her it’s hard for me to express my true feelings, I just hope she reads my heart and eyes because they are my only allies. Im not shy, nor am I scared to tell her how I feel. I just wonder why the words in my head with all my education, are not enough to describe her beauty. If Leonardo Da Vinci was alive today, he would have painted a portrait of her not Mona Lisa. Her smile……. Oh her smile makes me wanna dance Alingo in public loooool. When we hug I never wanna let go, because her body is soft like the feathers of an angel. When she’s about to leave, I stared deeply into her eyes and she said “look at the way you’re looking at me”. Why wouldn’t I, when you make me feel like a fat kid who loves cake. And when she says my name “Deji” it sounds so sweet coming from the lips of an angel, it made me weak. We played the number game on twitter, she tweeted “You have a lot of beautiful words to say but you don’t know how to express yourself” So true. And I replied her saying “Teach me how to love you”. It’s much easier to write these words than to tell her how much I want her in my life, so I hope this pen becomes my mouthpiece as I pour out my heart on this paper. I don’t know what she did to me, but I pray her kiss will help me name it. She got me bad init lool. You all have to help me on this one. She said do you really want to wait? Girl falling in love with you is a risk I’m willing to take and I mean it. But Im human I can’t promise her anything, I don’t want to fail her, because it will hurt me more than it would ever hurt her. As each day passes by, my faith walks through a mile of broken glass. With blood from my feet paint the glasses red, but courage helps me make it to the border line where lovers meet. Im out here waiting for you night and day, and this is all I have to say “I can’t go any further than this” I pray for that day she comes to meet me half way. We all have fallen in love in the past, some of us are currently in love, and most importantly we all want to feel loved. Yet our selfish desires take over, and we end up hurting somebody or we get hurt. We live our lives bearing the scars in our hearts, with our anti”love”virus fully updated and yet………………….
