This place is a landmark in Costa Rica. Its inside the central market downtown San José. Since the early 1900s. The owner is a great friend of the family, and my dad and I used to visit it on a regular basis. They honestly have the best homemade Ice cream I have ever tasted. They have only one flavor made of vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, a spice called Jamaica and some other secrets they dont tell the customers. We would sit at the bar and enjoy a cup with their also homemade barquillos (costarican pastry) Every time I bring friends from USA we take them here.

What a week...thank goodness tomorrow is a day of rest and staying
