This play was inspired by Mark Lakeman and created by young folks between the ages of two and sixteen. Its a Romeo & Juliet kinda story about what happens when the VILLAGE Family moves onto the empty lot across the street from the GRID Family. The play features interviews with Rachel Kaplan, Ryan Johnston, Angelo Silva, Raleigh Campbell, Adam Kightlinger, Stephanie Van Hook, Michael Nagler, Marissa Mommaerts, Lydia Kindheart and others. It was created in the great outdoors beside a lake, rehearsed & performed at Lydias Sunflower Center , then performed in the backyards & living rooms of folks around town. The project was part of the gift economy. It was a gift for the cast members & audiences. Walking Elephant Theatre Companys next project will perform at Sebastopol Grange #306. If youd like to participate, just shoot me a message. No dates have been set. Youre input will help decide.
