What a beautiful tribute to my family... xoxo I loved you the first time Glenn decided to share His ole friend Bill With the blonde spikey hair I bit on the loud side And attitude galore He would soon know That wed love him more His strong willed wife With her eyes full of pride Of this handsome old kook That made her his bride Soon we would know The daughters three And all of the rug rats That made them complete. Although they were rowdy And even crude at times The bond that they shared Could not be denied. The oldest a nurse With the brains of her mother The middle child spunky Her dad made all over The little one precious A combo of two Shed stand her ground And take on more than a few All strong men entered Who would marry just once For when joining this clan You were not a dunce. Their love is not measured By money or fame But who had your back When it was a tough game. A veteran, a Shriner A husband a dad A son and brother Everyone wished they had had. A PaPa so awesome So strong and so tall A hunter a fisher At the kids becon call No princess could wish for A PaPa so sweet That she could wrap flowers Around PaPas big feet Our dear ship captain In Huatucolo Bay A week in the sun Where we could just play What a difference a year makes When we thought we had time To plan our next road trip To drink, play and dine We wish you sweet journey To a place of no pain And will think of you fondly Till we meet again Watch over us all And keep us from harm For theres no other angel I want holding my arm.
