This post brings back fond memories of the Ghat Biwa archipelago that I invented for an exhibit at the Royal Tropical Institute Amsterdam in 2002 (music, poetry, a handwritten journal in 18th century Dutch by the "discovérer", musical artefacts, maps, an audio guide...the works). Even though it was apparently on the list of exhibitions all school children in Amsterdam were required to visit that fall, and was reportedly swarming with school classes, all traces of this exhibit on the internet have completely disappeared...no website recalls this fictional country of Ghat Biwa any more...except this nps.nl/nps/supplement/02/8-15-22/bhagwati.html
