This post is not to undermine any of the NPBR fundraising events efforts - all events are time consuming and lots of time away from our families. However, the NPBR Gift Wrapping at the Westroads Mall in Omaha is a month long fundraiser that takes many volunteers away from their families. Some take annual leave from paying jobs, hire babysitters, etc to help out. And December is probably the most busiest and stressful time of anyones personal life. I personally want to send a huge shout out of appreciation to everyone who participates in this fundraiser for NPBR, plus maintaining the daily routine of things in rescue. NPBR is fortunate to have so many dedicated volunteers and supporters.
