This really aggravates me. This car had been sitting in a driveway for years, so for years me and my father would stop and talk to the lady who owned it. We would always make a deal on the car and then her bf or husband would tell her it was too cheap and he would restore it and so on. This happened atleast 6 times, and told them we would restore car. Car disappears and I figure it went to the junk yard, until I spotted it last night outside my buddys shop I worked at for years. Spoke with the new owner who said he got it from seeing mine all the time and wanted to restore this one. I was feeling pretty good about that until he told me that his son started stripping it for parts and planned on using it in a demo derby 😡.. Oh and that he picked up the car for only $300.. After years of the owner rejecting my higher offer.
