This really is a great Spark! Love David Micahs Ramp... I met Micah and his Mom, Maggie in late October 13 at our neighborhood Subway sandwich shop. Micah is a irresistible 5 year old A-genesiss youth that spends most of his time in a wheelchair. Maggie is a remarkable lady dedicating herself to his care on a 24/7 basis. The spirit moved me to introduce myself and I had no idea how I may be able to help. Over the Holidays I had occasion to visit their residence and saw that Maggie, a petite lady, was having to negotiate 3 steps each time they left their home and returned. I know as Micah grows the burden on her back will only increase. I decerned through prayer that a ramp would be one way I could help and with the approval of Maggie and her Property Manager I decide to build the ramp. I had met Troy a carpenter, during our Nimitz Christmas project for the homeless. I called and explained the project to Troy and he immediately said yes in providing the skill set to build an ADA standard ramp. Troy brought on board Paul, another tradesman, and we built a ramp. Dreams can be realized in short periods of time too. I am so EXCITED for Micah and Maggie
