This review is a little late but better late than never. We went to the Fat Aubergine, opp Ragland on Chapel Street, on Tuesday 30th Sept for lunch. Oh my word, what a absolute gem! This was the first time I had been there and I was not disappointed. We chose the open sandwiches, which are served on health bread, and you have the option of choosing half and half for the toppings, so no having to decide which one to go for, you can have two! I opted for the coronation chicken and the beef fillet and my mom had the beef fillet and smoked salmon and avo. These were served with a lovely, huge salad. Food heaven! We ended off lunch with a delicious coffee and biscuit. The owner, who also takes the orders etc is so lovely and friendly and as it was my birthday she gave me one of their signature brownies to take home. Best brownie ever!!!! If I didnt have to work full time I would definitely make the Fat Aubergine my regular lunch spot. Highly recommended! I cant wait to go there again.
