This scares the Hell out of me. Every time we visit the school I wonder if it will be the last. It only takes one freaked out uninformed parent to ruin it for us, just like poor Chance. The teacher/aide that accompanies some of the kids on their visits wants to put Lilahs picture with the kids in the yearbook, and see if the principal will post it on the school website. I am torn apart on this. I am so proud of Lilah and all she does but I want to protect her and what we have going on. I fear if pictures of her beautiful face get out there on the website and in the yearbook, someone is going to have issue with her being in the school. I know the school board has seen pictures of her with the kids from the summer program and they were supportive. Lets face it though, even if they love the dog, they will crumble if some irate parents come screaming to a meeting. This stresses me out too much. I am not going to stop the teacher from posting the pictures if she chooses to but I pray there are no repercussions.
