This shift that Im on really takes its toll, Im finding it hard to keep up with things. Today was my Dads birthday, I so wish he could be here to see my life today compared to the way it was not so long ago. I know he would be proud, how Im together with a great lady raising one of my kids and working full time. Clean sober and quit smoking living my faith. Dad I love you an I know that you were proud of me just before you went and now even more. I really believe he knows whats going on somehow. I dont believe that once your dead your totally gone, as long as we live in the hearts of our loved ones we are still with them sharing their triumphs, even their failures. Your still with me in my heart an I will carry you there for all my days. Happy Birthday Dad my love for you will never end.
