This song, Superstar (big hit by Karen Carpenter/The Carpenters,) will be on my cd. We have our own spin on it, with lots of keyboard/strings and harmony, etc. .And thanks, Phil Kresge, our local iconic . .bass player extraordinare, for filling me on this, at the jam Wed., in Columbia. Delaney and Bonnie, first did this, back in 1969. I think they helped write it!? The song was originally titled, Groupie. The words are a bit different . . And I can hardly wait, to sleep (not be with you) . .with you again. (That wouldve been too racey/unacceptable for squeaky clean Carpenters/Karen, RIP, loved her
