This song expresses exactly why I am ready to end this year. Those that know me well, know my heart and what I would do and give for love, everything, even if it meant hurting myself. But if you give of yourself for love and that is not reciprocated in the same way, at what point do you start to lose who you really are. At what point do you stop pretending that you are not hurting? At what point do you stop pretending that you feel loved when the reality is that you know what real Love is and that true Love would not treat you in the way that you have been treated or disrespected? I deserve the type of Love that I give and that my friends, is only to be shared with someone that will share, sacrifice and grow with me, emotionally, spiritually and romantically. And with that being said, bring on the the New Year!
